Bio: Rhode Ward combines field and laboratory techniques to study the population biology, genetics, reproductive biology, and timing of rare and non-native plant species. She is a fellow with PULSE (Partnership for Undergraduate Life Science Education) and is active in regional and national STEM education initiatives.

Expertise: Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Drug Design, Antibiotic Development, Adjuvant Development, Pharmacodynamics, Natural Product Discovery and Isolation, Undergraduate Mentoring, Scientific Writing

 
Bio: Wolfe is an expert in medicinal chemistry and drug design who specializes in antibiotic discovery and development. Her work, performed in collaboration with her undergraduate research students, contributes to the global scientific effort to develop new antibiotics to treat multi-drug resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections that are prevalent in hospital settings.
